題目：How to write a technical paper in English?

報告摘要：Writing a proper technical paper in English is always a challenge for Chinese students. Good introduction to writing and guided practice would help students to quickly gain the writing skills. This talk introduces the basic requirements for proper styles and formats targeted at IEEE or ACM conferences (for Computer Science and Software Engineering, but equally applicable to other engineering disciplines). General styles for journal papers will also be discussed. We will provide some real case studies: reasons for some rejected papers submitted to an IEEE conference will be analyzed based on reviewers’ comments. We will finally list several typical Chinese English phrases and suggest better usages.
報告者簡介：張康博士現(xiàn)任美國德州大學(xué)達拉斯分校計算機科學(xué)系終身教授，可視計算實驗室主任，也是該校的技術(shù)與藝術(shù)專業(yè)的兼職教授。他也是Vital Art and Science,LLC.
（myvisiontrack.com）公司董事和創(chuàng)始人之一。他還應(yīng)邀成為多家美國知識產(chǎn)權(quán)法律事務(wù)所計算機專家。張康于1982年2月在成都電訊工程學(xué)院(現(xiàn)為電子科技大學(xué))取得計算機工程學(xué)士學(xué)位，1990年在英國University of Brighton取得計算機工程博士學(xué)位，2011年在美國University of Texas at Dallas取得EMBA學(xué)位。張康博士曾在上海華東計算技術(shù)研究所、英國University of Brighton、英國科學(xué)與工程委員會、和澳大利亞Macquarie University等機構(gòu)任職。現(xiàn)任Journal of Visual Languages and Computing編委及書評編輯，International Journal of Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering領(lǐng)域編輯，Journal of Big Data編委，International Journal of Advanced Intelligence編委，和《軟件學(xué)報》責(zé)任編委。在多個國際會議上應(yīng)邀發(fā)表主旨演講，并主持過多個國際會議。出版過6本論著，60多篇國際期刊論文，和150多篇國際會議論文。報告者簡介：張康博士現(xiàn)任美國德州大學(xué)達拉斯分校計算機科學(xué)系終身教授，可視計算實驗室主任，也是該校的技術(shù)與藝術(shù)專業(yè)的兼職教授。他也是Vital Art and Science,LLC.
