Abstract: In this talk, I will consider an Euler-Poisson system with
three small parameters arising in the modeling of unmagnetized plasmas
and semiconductors. For initial data close to constant equilibrium
states, I will show the uniform global existence of smooth solutions
with respect to the parameters. This result implies the global-in-time
convergence of the Euler-Poisson system as each of the parameters goes
to zero. The proof is based on a unified energy estimate which is valid
for all the parameters.

報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介: 彭躍軍,法國(guó)克萊蒙二大數(shù)學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)室教授,先后師從于李大潛院士及法國(guó)著名數(shù)學(xué)家D. Serre 教授。主要研究方向?yàn)槭睾懵孰p曲組的熵解、擬線性雙曲組的光滑解、半導(dǎo)體及等離子體的動(dòng)力學(xué)模型的漸近分析及PDE中的初值和邊界層分析,在國(guó)際知名期刊發(fā)表論文70余篇,是偏微分方程領(lǐng)域的國(guó)際知名數(shù)學(xué)家。
